Just back from our first visit to Rowan Lodge and after years of staying in holiday homes we have finally found our "home from home". An absolute pleasure from beginning to end. House is stunning, spacious, cosy, spotlessly clean and decorated beautifully. The area is truly a piece of heaven. Can't thank Kath our host enough for a wonderful experience.

From start to finish, Kath made sure we felt so welcome! Greeting us on arrival with the keys, no delay on arrival, a lovely little welcome basket, toiletries and little special touches just shows that extra little effort 😀 I would be wary of the staircase, it's quite steep and a winding one. But that's the 4th room so there is another 3 to choose from if you've really small kids goes here.

Extremely friendly hosts who were very quick to respond. Cabin was immaculate and easy to find. We went with two other couples and we all enjoyed our experience. Would definitely recommend people to visit. Michael was a great host.

Completely fell in love with Rowan Lodge. It was absolutely spotless. Little touches here and there made it so homely and cosy. Lovely welcome by Kath with milk and good few bits of food, which was much appreciated after the drive. House had everything we needed. Best stocked home we have stayed in. Beds very comfy. Great size decking with gates. So nice to be able to have brought dog. Washing machine and dryer both decent machines, so handy. Horseriding was such a hit with the kids. Lovely forest walks. Can't wait to return again to experience it in Summer time.

It's a home from home. It was so comfortable & warm, nice views. All the amenities etc washing machine dryer stove all cooking items were excellent. Accommodation highly recommended can't wait to go back. Kath the host is so nice and welcoming board games for entertainment books to read just breathing taking.

We stayed as two families having a weekend break together. House was brilliant for an autumn weekend with kids. Lots of space for the two families. Mezzanine staircase to twin room leading off sitting room quite steep for very young kids but ours (5 upwards) loved going up there for table football! You can go for a short walk or cycle from the house but you have to go further afield for various kid friendly activities at this time of year. We tried out Arigna mine 35 mins away. Also did the horse riding on site on the final day which the kids loved. The owners have made the house a very special place - loads of really lovely thoughtful features. Very flexible and communicative - couldn’t fault them at all!

House was fabulous and we really enjoyed our stay. Our little girl went horse riding and really enjoyed it. The restaurant food was delicious, everything on site so handy. We will definitely be back.

Another pleasant stay at Rowan Lodge, our number one choice for Drumcoura. Rowan Lodge sets a high standard for accomodation, always clean, well appointed and tastefully decorated. We slept very well in comfortable beds, enjoyed hot showers in the nice bathrooms, watched netflix in the evenings in the spacious lounge area and enjoyed meals in the very well appointed kitchen. Rowan Lodge is classy, comofortable and clean, we highly recommend!

Thank you for a wonderful stay at Rowan Lodge, a perfect place where we were able to escape for a few days to relax and enjoy the peace and beautiful scenery. The lodge was so well equipped and we loved all the finishing touches such as the fresh flowers in the living room, eggs, bread and milk also provided. Great choice of jigsaws, games and football table which kept our family well entertained during our stay. We would highly recommend Rowan Lodge and hopefully we will be back again soon!

House was lovely with everything you could want included. Area was beautiful with lovely towns and restrautants. Area is ideal for walkers with fantastic canal walk all marked out. Beautiful greenways for cycling. Lovely location to really tune out. Really enjoyed our few days in Leitrim.

The hosts provided everything we needed for our stay, including fresh Duck eggs. The cabin was cozy and comfy and had amazing views of the lake from most windows. We brought our dog, who loved the place and the freedom to roam around. We also tried out Horse Riding on site, I really recommend trying this when staying here. We had never done it before and Marlene and Ron were amazing tutors. Also, a good spot for fishing I believe with no license required.

Really wonderful house, so relaxing and peaceful and lots of space. Good walks on site in the spooky forest and lots of places to go to during the day. Our dog loved it too. Definitely go here if you're seeking some rest and relaxation. Saloon bar and restaurant on site and we could eat outside with our dog. It was a wonderful stay and no doubt we will go back. Thanks to wonderful hosts and thanks again for our welcome pack.
